Care Bear

I search in vain to understand why my beautiful child is gone

So sweet, so fun, so much energy, full of so much love

A shooting star with so much life, a hug and smile for all

She brought joy to many, in every setting she fit like a glove

Words cannot express one's grief when a loved one dies

Especially when a parent loses a child so kind and so dear

Downs, Hawaii, California, Manhattan, any place she graced

The masses were blessed whenever Care Bear was near

The pain and the sorrow will endure, no way to replace her

But with that comes much joy and laughter as we recall

Her crazy antics that had us saying "OMG" and "Wow"

The Bear lit  us up, made us smile, was loved by all

She leaves a void in our hearts, but we're at peace

Knowing she was always thinking of us, always there

We're still in shock, so surprised, the pain so severe

We will always love you Carrie Ames, our sweet loving Bear
